Integrating your form with Highrise

By integrating your form with Highrise, you can send any submissions you receive straight to Highrise as a Contact.

This article will explain how to integrate your form with Highrise.

On step 3 ('Sync') of the form wizard when editing or creating a form, choose Highrise from the list of available integrations.

A button will appear telling you to add a Highrise account. Click it and a form will appear. (If you have already added an account, a drop down menu will appear asking you to choose which Highrise account you would like to use.)

The form has a couple of fields:

  • Name - This is just for your reference so you can separate one account from another.
  • API Key - Your Highrise API key. To find your API Key, follow these instructions.
  • Username - Your Highrise username. This is usually what appears in the URL bar when you log in. Eg: myusername.highrisehq.com

Once you are ready, click 'Go'. A new set of options will appear:

These options are:

  • Which Highrise Account? - A dropdown menu allowing you to choose which Highrise account you would like to use (if you have more than one).
  • Background - Tag all contacts that come through from this form with something to recognize them. This will populate to the 'Background' field in Highrise.

If you change any of these values they will automatically save.

Beneath these options you will find the field mappings:

On the left is the field as it is in CreateForm, in the dropdown menu is the field you want to link to in Highrise. CreateForm will try to map certain fields automatically, but you will need to check that these are correct.

If you wish to map one of your fields to a Custom Field you have created in Highrise, click the 'Add' button next to the field you wish to map. A form will appear:

Give the field the same name as your custom field in Highrise, then click 'Add'. Do this for each custom field you wish to map.

That's it! Your form is now integrated with Highrise. Because each form and each Highrise account is different, we highly recommend that you test the integration by filling out your own form several times to ensure all the data goes to the place you want it.
